Request for Expression of Interest: Membership into IoD-Gh Mentorship Scheme Committee

Introduction

Institute of Directors-Ghana wishes to establish a mentorship and certification scheme for mentors and mentees to ensure SMEs in Ghana live beyond their first generation. In this regard, the Institute wishes to form a committee to see to the operationalization of the scheme. Members of the Institute who wish to be considered as members of the IoD-Gh Mentorship Committee are therefore invited to express their interest accordingly. Please note that a committee member can also be a mentor.

 

Terms of Reference (TOR) for SME Mentoring Committee

  1. To ensure compliance to the mentors and mentees selection process.
  2. To ensure the scheme is marketed appropriately to receive funding and Stakeholder support.
  3. To ensure the successful implementation of the IoD-Gh Mentoring Scheme.
  4. To ensure the sustainability of the scheme.
  5. To seek strategic collaborators.
  6. To submit quarterly and annual reports to IoD-Gh Council.

Qualification Requirements

  1. Must be a member of IoD-Gh in good standing.
  2. Must have a wide experience in SME development.
  3. Must demonstrate ability to market the scheme.
  4. Must demonstrate the ability to raise funds.
  5. Must have a strong passion for SME development and Sustainability.

Time Commitments

Not less than 4 hours every month.

 

Tenure

  1. Two terms of two years per term subject to renewal for another term of two years from the Start Date.
  2. The Committee is expected to be inaugurated by the 30th April 2020.
