Request for Expression of Interest: Membership into IoD-Gh Mentorship Scheme Committee
Introduction
Institute of Directors-Ghana wishes to establish a mentorship and certification scheme for mentors and mentees to ensure SMEs in Ghana live beyond their first generation. In this regard, the Institute wishes to form a committee to see to the operationalization of the scheme. Members of the Institute who wish to be considered as members of the IoD-Gh Mentorship Committee are therefore invited to express their interest accordingly. Please note that a committee member can also be a mentor.
Terms of Reference (TOR) for SME Mentoring Committee
- To ensure compliance to the mentors and mentees selection process.
- To ensure the scheme is marketed appropriately to receive funding and Stakeholder support.
- To ensure the successful implementation of the IoD-Gh Mentoring Scheme.
- To ensure the sustainability of the scheme.
- To seek strategic collaborators.
- To submit quarterly and annual reports to IoD-Gh Council.
Qualification Requirements
- Must be a member of IoD-Gh in good standing.
- Must have a wide experience in SME development.
- Must demonstrate ability to market the scheme.
- Must demonstrate the ability to raise funds.
- Must have a strong passion for SME development and Sustainability.
Time Commitments
Not less than 4 hours every month.
Tenure
- Two terms of two years per term subject to renewal for another term of two years from the Start Date.
- The Committee is expected to be inaugurated by the 30th April 2020.
